A:
Codemasters CampZone powered by Getronics PinkRoccade is a camping where you have the facilities to game. You stay at a camping and can bring your pc. You pc can be connected to a big network, enabling you to communicate digitally with the other visitors. Codemasters CampZone powered by Getronics PinkRoccade is a unique camping gaming experience which lasts 11 days.

Where is Codemasters CampZone powered by Getronics PinkRoccade?
A:
Codemasters CampZone powered by Getronics PinkRoccade will take place at the terrain next to Eindhoven Airport, in Oirschot (province of Noord-Brabant).

Why doesn't my payment show on the website?
A:
When you book your money today, it can take a week to reach us. Only when you had your bankpaper of booking you can expect it to be on our site.

What kind of computerusers will be there? The advanced kind right?
A:
Indeed, there will be a lot of people who are advanced with using computers. But there will also be a big group of 'newbies'. You don't have to be ceritified computerproffessional to visit a lanparty!
Should you run into computer-troubles, there will always be people around who are willing to help! No problem, the ambiance at nearly every lanparty is very good. Plus: You can learn a lot during these 11 days!

Q:
What should I bring?
A:
Everything you would normally need to camp for a week. For instance a tent or camper (with the necessary interior), clothing, sleepingstuff, cookery if you want to cook and offcourse your pc and peripherals.

Q:
How long should my networkcable be?
A:
This answer is greatly changeable. The average will be about 25 meters. In extreme cases it can be necessary (in an absolute corner) to need 65 meters of utp. This depends greatly on what you do. However, it's very wise to come prepared. Q:
Will there be internet?
A:
As with the earlier editions, we can never promise internet. However, as always we will do our very best to make sure there will be. We have never had a Codemasters CampZone powered by Getronics PinkRoccade without internet yet. Be aware though: this connection is shared with all the participants. We will disable certain services at the internet, so normal usage will remain usable with enough bandwith. Still: Even then internet can be unstable or unreliable. It will be very unwise to assume you can administrate stuff at home or at work. Make sure you don't have to work with our connection!

How much space do I get for my tent?
A:
There should be enough space for everyone. Still the usage of the field should be done optimaly. Try to place your tent in an orderly fashion.

Q:
How about food?
A:
Everyone should take care of their own food.
There will be a catering however, so there's choice enough.

Q:
Can I bring a BBQ?
A:
Yes, you can. As long as you are carefull about the safety of you and others.
Keep a bucket of water or sand near your BBQ, so you can put out the fire in case of troubles.

Q:
How much power do I get?
A:
You have to share 1 group (3560 watt) with about 4 to 5 people.
Be wary about powereating machines like waterheaters, electric BBQ's, tosti-irons, etc. Enormous powerusers (like heaters, dishwashers etc) are not allowed.

Q:
Is my computer insured?
A:
You have to arrange your own (travel)insurance for your stuff. You can do this at banks and insurancecompanies.

Q:
Will there be trouble when it rains?
A:
Luckily no. You have to make sure your tent is waterproof though. Should you run into troubles however, like an unforseen hole in your tent for example, you can go to your FieldAdmin for help. He can help try to keep your tent dry with plastic, or arrange to move you with your equipment.

Q:
It get's cooler at night. Will there be condensed water in my pc?
A:
When you make sure your pc and monitor are warmer then the temperature of the surroundings, there is absolutely no risk of condesed water. The smart thing to do is to keep your equipment running all night when the air is moist. Should your pc be turned off, it's strongly adviced to power it on only when outside the sun shines again and the air is warm again.

Q:
Will there be showers and bathrooms?
A:
Yes, there will be showers and bathrooms at CampZone. These come without extra costs.

Q:
Are there rules about loudness?
A:
By day you can make some reasonable noise, as long as it doesn't pass the tent next to you. Between 22:00 and 10:00 however, there is a silent period, to make sure we don't cause problems in the surroundings. Be smart, bring your headphone!

When there are complaints about loudness, our security will ask to keep the noise down, and take actions if nessecairy.

As every year CampZone will also host a loudness field. People who want to create more noise, are advised to go that field.

Sound on this field is permitted from 11:00 (an hour later then other fields) untill 22:00. The noise of the loudness field shouldn't harrass the fields next to it, or CampZone itself.

Q:
Can I bring a beamer/projector?
A:
Offcourse you can! Just don't harrass your neighbours with it.

Q:
Can I bring my car on the field?
A:
You're only allowed to enter the field with your car to unload / load your camping equipment. After that you have to park it on the parking. You may NOT enter the field for unloading after shopping.

Q:
Can I bring my caravan?
A:
Yes you can. Including your attached tent. A caravan of 5 meters should be shared with 2 people. If you use an attached tent, it should be used by 3 or 4 people.

Q:
Can I use my bicycle on field?
A:
No, there is no bicycling allowed on field.
